Giraffe's heads

I carved these giraffe heads for my mother who loved this animal so much. I first carved one head and then I decided to make a second one to use for a table. The heads will be mounted with glass for the top of the table. As I am finishing the project, I have completed 3 legs and the chest. Since a table requires 4 legs, I still have some work to do!

The one looking towards the left: 11 x 13 x 18 inches

            The one looking towards the right: 11 ½ x 13 x 1 ½ inches

            Giraffe table in construction: 14 x 30 x 34 inches

Wood type: American basswood
